*Quick elementary question about Proscar and Test, do I need to start it 30+ days bef

I'm going to be doing enanthate at 800mg a week. I'm also going to be frontloading it at a as of yet undetermined dosage, probably in the neighborhood of 1,200mg or so.

Anyway, questions:

1. Is there any reason I need to start the proscar before I start the test, I read that I need to start it around 30 days before, which doesnt make a whole lot of since to me.

2. What dosage would all of you recommend for a frontload? 2mg per day to be safe? I'll be using 1mg per day + topical anti-androgens.

3. Literature I've read says you must continue to use proscar 'forever' or you will lose all the hair again.

I'm assuming this is because they are not referring to androgen users, where our androgen levels drop off from what they were while using proscar, hence it is not necessary to continue proscar usage upon cessation of androgen .... is this correct? ie, I use it for my cycle, then stop, I wont lose what hair I would have lost during my cycle.

well, according to the doc at minoxid.com, he says that finastride takes about a month to get a good concentration in blood and handle DHT like it's supposed to. I'd also like more info on that so i'll bump it for ya.

I've seen data suggesting that two weeks of finasteride before starting the cycle is fine. As far as using it forever or losing all your hair... Like you said, the statment is made in regard to natural androgen related hair loss. Post cycle, your hair will not fall out in clumps. Once androgen levels return to normal and you stop taking finasteride, your rate of hair loss would be equal to your normal "off cycle" rate.
