questions about peck shots

for anyone who puts into their pecks, what length needle do you recomend and where do you place it on your peck?

I am considereing doing there as well, I currently use my bi's, shoulders, and tri's

any comments would be much appreciated

I hit pecs with a 29g, .5in slin pin. 1cc per pec. I go right in the center, about 1 inch above and inside from the nipple.

I think an important note is not to stab strait in. I go from the top and poke in.

25g 1 inch works.

I DO go straight in. Why would you angle it? You want to get into the muscle and with a .5 in you have to go straight or you might not get deep enough. Nurses never give IM injections at an angle...at least none of the dozens I've known over the years have. Sub-q or skin-pops sure, but IM? I've always gone straight in. 1 inch I would go straight in too, just not all the way... unless you have really thick pecs. You won't hit your heart though going 1 inch
