question on slin pin

i want to use 20 mcg of IGF. i read that 10 mcg = 1IU, but my slin pin isnt marked with IU's. its a BD U-100 28G 1/2 in. its marked from 1-100. i think that 10 units on the pin is equal to 1IU, but im not sure. is this correct?

if the syringe is marked from 1-100 then each tick is 1 iu (for insulin). if you're saying that 10mcg = 1iu and you want is 20mcg, then you want to fill the syringe only 2 ticks.

if you filled it 10 iu's, or 10 ticks, you'd be getting 10*10mcg or 100mcg.

are you adding bac water? if you are/did, then just add more to make it easier to measure out.

thanks. im loading BW first, and then the IGF, but with only two ticks in the pin, i have a hard time getting the air out of the syringe when i load the IGF.
