Paxil leads to an increase in suicide probability
I have had another form of ssri's for sleep and it didn't bother me. My doc is watching me very closely. Their is some anxiety involved as well. I do not have tendency's to suicide never have and find that it is the chicken shit way out. So I am killing two birds with one stone. My doc says it is the best he has seen for this problem.

Yea it sucks bad. I never had a migraine before until paxil. It felt like my brain was being hit with a hammer for about 4 hrs on night. I laid in bed with the pillow over my head praying for it to go away. There was some other sides too but I cant remember. I take effexor now, and its great no sides at all, but if you quit cold turkey it messes with your head which will be hurting.

there's other ways. start-stop techniques, kegels, and just lots of sex. your stamina will increase drastically the more you have sex, well, at least for the normal person.

this is what the doctor says works. I have known my doc for over 30 years and he is one of the best. We don't have the luxury of the amount of time for all the other stuff. I have had sex every night for years and it was always hit and miss. If this works, great, if not, I am not gonna go kill myself.
Like most everything else you have to be predisposed to kill yourself for this to take that path.
Anyway, again it is for 28 days and if it is doing its job and I don't have the sides, great, if it isn't we'll try something else. Also the dose i am on does not approach the psychotropic levels used for people with depression and such.

1) paxil and all the SSRI's make you last longer, but they also kill libido to varying degrees. the degraded libido goes along with the delayed climax. not cool. (l-carnithine has similar effects btw)
Instead,
2) avena sativa (action brand tablets or liquid, at label dose or alittle above) will give you MUCH better control, along with increased sensitivity and a more intense prolonged orgasm. best of all worlds.
3) if you can find any 19-nor prohormones around (nandrolone precursors), take 100-200mg 1 hr before. it is in and out of your system quickly; for me had the effect of making coming almost impossible. no impact on erection. she'll love it, you'll hate it.
4) another thing you can try is dostinex + viagra or cialis. the dostinex reduces to almost nothing the refractory period post orgasm, and the viagra/cialis will keep you hard after you come the frst time. about as close as a guy will come to multiple O's, and as far as she's concerned, you're just banging away for hours on end.

me, i have no problem lasting. years of start/stop technique. i can last as long as it takes.
now the best time is when you take an inhibitor like X and viagra.

No offense, but your Doc sounds like an idiot. I've been going to the same one all my life too, but he knew very little about Paxil and it's risks when he prescribed it to me. That drug is not to be fucked with.
I hope you don't get the same withdrawl symptoms after only 28 days, that regular user get.Brain/body zap disoriented, lightheaded, nausea, sleeplessness, gain weight, seem to get weak, loose motivation
I just can't see any reason to prescribe this shit drug to anyone.

going on Paxil for a sexual problem is the definition of lunacy.....my ex was on itdue to a bout of depression...she was suicidal to thr point that I begged her to come off...

Chesty, i'm hit or miss sometimes too with how long i last. it happens. does a good round of foreplay help clear it up? 99% of the time if i get a good BJ before sex and already let loose once, i'm good for the long haul when the sex starts.
you can also manipulate the start/stop technique without her knowing that's your goal. i do this one all the time and it works wonders. pull out til just the tip is in and tease her for a while. it'll give you time to calm down and it'll work her up amazingly if you're doing it right. tease her for a minute or so, go all the way in, then come back out again and repeat. practice on this one and you'll have a chick going nuts begging for it, plus you can work her up to the point of orgasim and both come together.
i'd say no-go on the paxil. there's too many other effects from the drug to even consider using it for sexual purposes. you'll be trying to remedy a sexual problem with a drug that kills the sex drive. that's like trying to heal a cut by stabbing it and making it deeper.
