Question on Nolvadex

Nolvadex itself is like an estrogen...right? Does this mean that if I take it..I might get alittle water retention? And if I take it with AAS, will it help in controlling my lipids? Now what if I take AAS with an anti-aroma like Adex. This obvously will fuck up lipids more. But adding Nolva will make it better???

Nolvadex is a weak estrogen, it will bind with the estrogen receptors but not activate them (at least not significantly). When taken with aromatizing AAS, nolvadex will prevent water retention (the estrogen cannot bind to the receptors that have bound with nolvadex).

OK, to answer to question: Yes; using nolvadex with a-dex would improve lipid profiles over a-dex alone because the nolva would still act as a weak estrogen. A-dex will not interfere with the action of nolvadex because tamoxifen does not aromatize.

However, just out of curiousity, what's wrong with a little water retention anyway? It's just temporary.

I was concerned about this for my bulking cycle too. So, what you are saying is that I can run say .5 mg daily of arimidex and can run the nolvadex too? If I use adex everyday will it hurt my gains? Didnt mean to run over the thread but I had to ask. thanks
