Hey, I am going to start cutting will be doing cardio for 30 minutes low to moderate intensity 5 times a week. the problem is I am going to have to do cardio about 30 minutes after I lift on two of the days. I was wondering If anybody had any suggestions on what would be the best time for my protein shake and when to take the creatine. Also If anybody had any advice on what to eat after cardio or when that would help. Thanks alot.

Your situation is somewhat of a double-edged sword. Immediately after w/o you need to resupply your body with essential nutrients,i.e. simple sugar/protein, as your body is in a catabolic(muscle burning)state. Your doing cardio for fat loss, with the supply of added carbs,if your doing it right, you should be taking in anywhere b/w 80-100g PWO, it will take much longer to get into the fat burning process, if you get there at all due to the recently digested carbs. If your doing cardio before w/o, you want have adequate energy required to workout, and your body will come dangerously close to catabolism even before w/o. If you decide to eat some carbs after cardio to fuel your w/o, your cardio session will be all for not, as lyposis will be haulted due to the carbs. As you can see doing cardio before/after w/o is never a good idea. I would suggest doing it on your days off, and if you can fit it in the morning on empty stomach and w/o later in the pm, this would be optimal. After cardio nutrition: some people wait 30-60 min. and eat a pro/carb meal. I prefer a pro/fat meal to prolong lyposis(fat burning process), but its a personal preference.

Yah, I am going to be doing cardio on my three off days. On my days I'm lifting I cant fit in any other time to do it. :(

If you have no other choice, then do it after w/o. I would wait 30-45 min. and have a pro/carb meal.

Ok, Iv just reworked my workout and I have a way that I could lift 3 days a week and run 4. If I only ran four but could do it seperately do you think this would benifit me better? Also what would be the best meals before and after. Thanks alot for all the help.

Yes, as stated in my previous post. Cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, with maybe some coffee and amino acids would be ideal for fat loss. If doing cardio later in the day, do not have a carb meal prior to cardio, which means if you have 3 meals before cardio, the 3rd meal will be a pro/fat meal. As i stated in my previous post, its a personal preference on what type of meal after cardio. Some wait 30-60mins and have a pro/fat meal. The reason behind this is that lyposis(fat burning process) will be prolonged. Some wait 30-60min and have a pro/carb meal. I prefer a pro/fat, but like i said its a personal preference.
