ok guys i need your oppinion on this i have been looking a bike for a couple of months now, and there is this guy i used to work with that just told me he would see his to me.
he wants $3,500 for a------
2002 honda 900 rr
with cusom wheelie bar
and engine trick cage
also has aftermarket exhaust
and a few other changes like the rims also and a performance chip

the thing is the bike was yellow and black but he got it repained silver and there are no side panels now.
there are only 12k miles on the bike and it lookes in good condition but i just know this guy rode the fuck out of it like the exhaust was completle worn down from the wheelies and im sure its been dropped a few times. Whata your advise.

Well I think you are right he has rode the heck out of it. But it is still a good price. Are you going to be using it for stunting or just a street bike? Does he do the slow stuff or the fast stunts too?

if your gonna stunt it...buy it.

if you wanna ride- and ride hard/fast- forget it.
the bike and motor have been under tremendous stresses....clutch and basket etc etc. transmission- all gears, bottom end especially, over- reving motor= pistons, rings....not to mention suspension factors: seals, constant flexing of forks, frame, swingarm and wheels...axles bearings...do you follow???....when the bike is not kept on the ground doing what its supposed to do, it takes a beating....this bike no doubt has hit the ground many times...your life is riding on two 4" contact patches of rubber....you want to gamble?

stay away man.... buy a bike from cycletrader and just pay the shippage fees and get a nice ones...puraschase bike season time man!

nice avatsro

yea i would proble use the bike mostly for stunting but yea a few other people have told me to check out biketrader so i might do that but curling to answer your question it has mostly been slow stunts like 40-60 mph wheelie and stoppies for the most part

Is this your first bike or not. If so, dependant upon your experience, it's sometimes good to get a beater first, do your learning and crashing on that one before getting a nice one. The dude I sold my GSXR 750 dropped it the first day I gave him the key, I had it for three years, bought it brand new and garage kept and it never ever touched the ground.

$3500 ain't bad, ain't good either but 12k is alot for sportbike, or at least most riders.

Yea, it is still kinda high for a stuntbike and pbr is right I wouldn't trust it for the fast stuff. Check cycle trader there is some steals sometime.
