Is it necessary to keep the Folders coffee in the fridge?

My good man, I don't drink coffee anymore, its been a year now, however, I used to be quite the conneiseur, although its not necessary, Coffee seems to keep its freshness if put in the freezer, not the fridge. peace

starbucks and pete's.. the best coffees ever made... too bad i'm in shitty ass ohio and we don't have pete's.. and the nearest starbucks to my house is 40 miles away..

luckily there's one only 10 miles from my work.. which i drive to every day i work.. just to get my fix..

Poopface, Starbucks' coffee in my opinion is some putrid shit. The beans are burnt too long. "Seattles Best" has a great mocha java, any pure Blue Mountain bean is solid or Kona for that matter. peace

Freezer or Fridge helps keep the Oils from evaporating out of the coffee, thereby keeping the taste a bit longer. If you put the beans or grounds in an Airtight container, it will do pretty much the same thing.

The YMCA I lift at give us members Free "Seattles Best" Coffee from 7 - 8:30 every morning. On my way out I get a cup, and I agree, it is some gooood Stuff !

here in post mardi gras new orleans, the locals are serious about coffee. i believe that we rank up there with seattle on consumption.

one of the better local brands, community, has printed on the side of their container for years to keep their coffee in the ice box.

many residents here perfer the well known CDM coffee and chicory brand, mixed half and half with hot milk. not me!!

i perfer community's dark roast 100% coffee grounds (no chicory), made with kentwood springs water, with no sugar or creme, one package of nutrasweet.

3 large cups of this potent stuff and i can pass on any ECA stack!!

dear holy roller.. your opinion has been recognized..

i've never had seattle's best... kona is ok...

the problem is.. where i currently live.. in the land of dairy farms and steel mills (abandoned ones).. the people in these po dunk hick towns have no idea of what real coffee is.. nor do they care.. all they care about is getting their gm discount, watching nascar, and fixing the fucking bailer.. that's it... as such.. there are no coffee houses any where in the nearby vicinity....


one more note regarding starbucks.. their locations are another factor.. when driving cross country for instance.. are you gonig to pull into a bk or mcdonalds and get coffee? are you gonna call 411 and see if there are any coffee houses in the town you're driving through? just cuz it's a coffee house doesn't necessarily guarantee it's got good coffee.. BUT starbucks on the other hand.. is consistent.. all over the country.. it's the same.. earthy.. dark.. strong.. full-bodied coffee that is actually worth drinking..
