question for the older members.

hey guys, gotta question as to what kind of cycles you guys are running. dosages, length? my dad is 59 and his energy isnt what it used to be. he's a pretty active guy, he plays tennis and raquetball, golf of course. although his activity level is decreasing as he gets older, as well as his drive(or desire to stay in shape) because he gets so spent after working out. i asked my mom if she knew about HRT(for him) and she said he was using some kind of topical steroid, she didnt know what it was and i didnt want to act like i knew too much about it.
i just dont want him to turn into a lazy bastard(he's retiring this summer) and i would like him to be as fit as he could. suggestions appreaciated.

Sorry I'm not an older member. At your fathers age, HRT should definitely be the first thing he should look into. If you don't want him to think more than what you want him to about your own use, then do research on HRT with him. Shit help him out.

I am not an older member by any means,

I am only 57,

have taken growth for years in every possible dosage, and it is a waste of time and money. The effects are minimal, where the sides are considerable.

Your father at 59 would do well on a simple cycle of

Week 1-12 Test e 500mg per week
Week 1-12 Deca 400mg per week

Anti-E

PCT

This is if he is in the gym if not in the gym,

Simply 300mg per week Test with AIFM

Also if not in the gym I believe HRT is a waste of time in general.

Actually going to the gym on a regular basis with or with out gear, is so much better than any HRT, it is not even comparable.

Get him a gym membership, and tell him to gain 15 lbs of muscle, and he will look and feel 40 again.

gh is great for the old guys...low dose test and gh is great for recovery
This would make him feel like a new man!!

I agree with Mr Spine. I have no experience with GH, can't comment. I was 48 when I started, 51 now, and AAS have been a fountain of youth along with my strength training.

He is probably taking androgel or something close to that it is like 5 mg a day you rub it on your stomach.

A light dose of test should work. Maybe a small dose of EQ for increased RBC for endurance as long as he keeps active he should be fine

I also agree that the most important ingredient is regular exercise, which you say your dad is doing. Copious amounts of testosterone will not much improve life quality for a couch potato.

I've felt old several times over the years, my first time being when I was 30ish. Assuming no major disabilities, it's mostly a frame of mind that the inactive slip into. Getting back to the gym shaved years of my perceived condition very quickly.

Nowadays, I view working out as my lifeline on vitality. Extra testosterone really only helps keep everything emotionally on an even keel and boosts the exercise.

"Nowadays, I view working out as my lifeline on vitality." Very well put, Mr. Wump.
