question for the gh users?

I've read a number of times that you can hold water when you start using gh, have you had this side effect. If so, to what degree? I started the jintropin 2 days after my show, and because of the post show rebound, gained tons of water. But this is 3 weeks later, my diet is clean, and I am still holding so much water that I have edema

I definitely didnt have endema but I did loose about half of my body fat in three months and yet my weight never changed 1lb. Literrally. I assume that for all the fat I lost I was slowly adding water.

I don't retain to much water weight from Growth myself. But, I don't think it's out of the question. If you're still doing the Slin w/ it that might be more of the culprit since you said the diet is clean.

yes gh makes you hold water which is why most bodybuilders do not take it for 14-21 days out from a show......as to the edema i doubt is the causing factor yet i am sure it didn't help much at first esp if youare using isulin also try some diazide and cardio and sauna if possible i know it sukcs but thats what you gt to do

I started at 2iu for 2 weeks, have been running 3iu for a week now. I did try diazide again and it didnt do anything for the swelling in feet and ankles. I am using slin, but I go 2 day stretches without touching it, and the water doesnt seem to change

 Maybe your body is still just over compensating for being on your strict precontest diet for such a long time. I would think though by now that would have pretty much tapered down. I don't know man, but I would say it will probably calm down with time. Just keep an eye on the blood pressure while it's bad.

I'm on 3 IU's ed and really don't hold to much waterr from it....I bet it's a combo of the GH and more so you being post contest

Yeah, I think post contest has a lot to do with it. Slight changes in diet will create water retention post contest cause you were so depleted for a long time. The water issue should subside in a couple weeks or so by itself if your still eating clean.

thanks for the replys, I think it mostly is the post contest thing. My mom is a nurse, and when I went to visit on thanksgiving, she took one look at me and told me I have edema. She told me to keep my feet elevated, so the water will drain back into the torso and be processed by the kidneys. I finally started to do that and it seems to be helping

did you eat a lot of salty stuff after your show?....that's the biggest culprit of rapid water weight gain after competing

I did go crazy on the sodium at first, but its been as clean as I can get it for 1 1/2 weeks now

Salty food is the best after a show :D......are you still on your cycle?....were you using T3?.....I don't know what to tell you except it'll probably get better as time goes on.....I stayed on my cycle for about 4 weeks after my show while tapering the T3....looked hard as nails for a good 4-5 weeks after.....the one thing I was told is no salt for about 4 days after and then introduce it gradually.....

My cycle ended when the show did, but I've been bridging with 15mg PT var, the gh and insulin. I've been tapering the t3 down as well, dropped it to 75mcg just before the show, and am down to 12.5mcg now, will drop it entirely in a few days. I know this isnt fat though as my ankles and feet are really swollen
