I am out of pins and because of election day i can't get them till thur.

I do have sterile pins, but used barrels...can I use the old barrels after cleaning them in isopropyl Alcohol?

You can, but don't make a habbit out of it. I would boil the needle first for 10 minutes and then give it a soak in alcohol just for safty sake. When you boil the needle make sure the water is not so deep that the needle can tumble endo over end form the bubbles, this could dull, bend, or break the tip.

I've used the "used" barrels before, I didn't get infected, sick or swelled up.

Yes if your worried about infection just rinse them with alcohol.

If you got no other choice than the alcohol rinse should be fine, but remember that syranges/needles are legal in many states and you can get it from your local CVS (as long as you buy a few).

Wash the barrel out with water after you sterilize it with the alcohol, if you inject isopropyl alcohol into yourself you will definately feel it(it'll hurt like hell).

I've done inj with used barrels and had no problems...didn't clean them or disinfect them in any way.....

It's safe. Try surfing around and go to an HIV site that shows people how to disinfect your kit. I wouldn't use the same one more than once though. Bleach works best. try www.thebody.com
