question for sound system buffs

looking to upgrade the shitty sound system i have hooked up to my laptop right now since i'm gonna be moving to a dope new room. this logitech 4.1 system is what i'm considering:

400watts for $140 (including shipping). does that sound like a good deal to you guys, or what?

check out www.spartantech.com they have some great prices and you prob get a 5.1 for same price if not cheaper

Technically yes. What you get with higher wattage is a crisper more realistic sound. It is not necessarily louder, just better.
