question for LA people

I am thinking about moving there in e year to go to school. What are the good areas to move into that are cheap but still close to the action?

I live in Huntington Bch, Orange County. About 30 miles South of LA. I personally wouldn't want to live in LA. Depends what your looking for.

I live in the San Gabriel valley which probably too minivan for you. The South Bay is good, but expensive. Silverlake is a very hot area of LA, and you could find something small, but not too pricey.

Ignore the San Fernando Valley--it's too far away, and varies between dirt cheap and creepy and very expensive.

Venice is funky and a little edgey, and you'd need to really look for reasonable prices.

I want to do my first year of law school out there and I think UCLA has a law program. I am also a bartender so I would want to live in an area that is reasonably accessible to the trendier nightclubs and lounges since they pay the best.

bro los angeles is the greatest place to live in the world, it is high though, the best deals on apartments is in inglewood, it is mostly black but it isnt junky, beggars cant be choosers, you could find a shitty studio in HWood, you wont have any space to live, culver city is cool too, you could find an apartment there for 700, it is nice area and close to everything like inglewood, bro move out here why you can, it is the best place to live, and so many fuckin women.............you might as well come now............bro the best places to live in LA are, but they will be high too, about 1000 at the least, in between culver city and inglewood there is some real nice new apartments......real nice about 1200 a month, santa monica is real nice and expensive, culver city is cool, brentwood but expensive, westwood the same, and lots of other places, drop me an email if you want to know more..............post it on the thread to email you and I will so you can get the address.
