I guess alot of it depends on where your are when you start. 5 weeks before I had finished my first cycle (4 weeks of tren, anadrol and winstrol) and put on alot of weight (I'm 5'5" and went from a very cut 175 to a bloated 215-220). After I stopped that cycle I dropped back down to 210 but was still way too smooth (around 14-15%). I decided to do the prop/t-3 just to solidify the gains I had made and drop alot of the bodyfat. I used alot of prop because I didn't want to touch orals for a while, and also was worried about catabolism from the T-3.
I ran the prop at 1000mg a week and used the T-3 in a pyramid fashion, starting at 25mcg, gradually working up to 100mcg and then tapering down to 12.5 mcg.
I was following a diet where I took in most of my carbs post-workout, so I took a shot of humlin-R halfway through my workout. I don't know if I got anything from this though..... It did not prevent fat loss though, and I did always have good pumps in the gym.
Ended up at 197 with 8%, so I guess that I added muscle while dropping bf.
also: I used .25mg armidex ED. All prop shots were taken ED as site injections into my delts, bis and tris (a shot on each side ED). This was only because the prop shots in my glutes and quads were making it impossible to walk across campus and up all those damn stairs.
