Question for Everyone on the Board!

Hello,

Just wanted some imput on something that has been bothering me a little. I have been on this board for around a year now, granted I really havent posted that much, but I sure have learn a hell of a lot. All of my question have been answered one way or another. But my concern is this... Back in the day... Well I would even say around 4 months ago the MODS or at least one MOD would respond to almost every question. This doesnt seem to be the case anymore. Normally what I would do is post a question.. Wait for all the responses and then pull a little info from each answer and make a cycle or determine my answer. But I always like to have the advise of a MOD.. I know they dont know everything in the world, but they do know their shit. So I will stop beating around the bush and say it, Where have all the MODS gone.. I know we all have lives outside of the board, but damn.. I may see 3 or 4 post by a MOD a week now.. Mostly Mustang18... So where are they? I always thought that George would elect MODS on the information that they know and their ability to be on the board ready to help us all out... So that is my rant for the day... The board is by no means what is use to be... Maybe the board has gotten to big? I Dont know.. I still love it here and will always post something. But I feel not only do the MODS give us answers but in a way they teach us.... SO WHERE the HELL are the teachers.........................?

I think the mods do read over the posts, and if there's a wrong answer or a question that hasn't been answered yet they'll jump in, but with so many people on the board that know they're shit, the questions are usually answered numerous times on thread anywayz...

I beg to differ.

The mods can't be here day in and day out 24/7. Sure some of them don't post that often, but they do have lives outside of helping us. Certain ones such as El Cubano are on extended vacations, etc. It's not like they get paid to moderate, they're doing it out of their own time. There are many posts by the mods each day.

The thing you're missing is that most people on these boards gained alot of their knowledge from the mods. Alot of the mods will read the posts but don't respond because the questions have already been answered by someone. There's no need to reiterate something that was already said correctly.

There's many vets on this board with just as much knowledge as alot of the mods. Sure, getting replies from mods is great but the advice is just as golden if given correctly by a member.

In my opinion, I tink the mods are hesitant and more selective about the posts they answer due to 2 major reasons.

1. People post the same things over and over without first searching the board for answers to thesse questions.
2. This board is being filled with some really rediculous posts that have no significance in the bodybuilding world whatsoever. I now I get tired of reaading some of the bullshit on this board, especially smatass comments and sarcastic remarks.

So, you're right. This board is not what it used to be, but the blame is "ours"..not the MODS!
