Is this bombing of afghan really having a profound effect? They have been bombing for weeks!

If anyone can shed some light on the situation, it would be appriciated.

Look at the Desert Storm. Bombing keeps people up, on edge and ready to quit. In Kuwait, THOUSANDS quit. Giving up to reinforced fire teams! That's 6 Marines. taking over 600 prisoners at one time. No shit G.I.! It works. and besides there is nothing sweeter than a harrier or f-18 screamin over your head in a fire fight to drop some shake and bake on the bad guys...
