question about the "Bake"

so i have done some research on making Test E and it says to bake at 200' for 15-20 mins....i cant find a straight answer on whether or not i preheat and if it should be vented somehow....once again thanks in advance.

i made test cyp 200mg/cc i didnt bake it..usally you bake it if you messed it up.ex got mositure in the gear,unsterile,etc things like that..

You don't need to bake. When you filter that is what sterilizes your mix. If you buy vials that are presterilized, just vent it with one needle, and filter in the solution with another needle/filter.

If you're going to bake it.. it's 15 mins after pre-heat. And yes, you will need to vent it with a needle. However, there's really no point, and it can cause oxidation in certain compounds and oils.

i never do it that way..not saying you cant i just dont..i get a big 500mls filter hook the pump up..let it filter then just fill up my pre sterile vials

I don't either.. but the OP sounds like its not a big setup if to wonder to bake or not.. so that's how I figured it. Love me some vacuum assisted filtration.. saves my thumbs. hehe

Haha yes in deed mine and purest haha..u ever used a heatgun instead of putting the beaker on the stove in a pan of water? Or used a hotplate?

thank you very much for the responses, so basically heating it up enough to melt the waxy Test E form amongst the rest of the ingerdiants, filter it and good to go?

well first time around complete, vial looks nice and clear with no swirls we will know in morning, only used 2% ba with 0 bb

i read in many places that bb is not needed with long esters like enanthate

Yes indeed. I never use BB with deca, test e, or eq (and thats about all i do these days since bad experiences with tren). 2% BA, and you are good to go.
