question about syringe filters

I have never made fina ,so I don't know anything about filtering fina through a syringe filter.I bought some fina from a source that makes it,and it is dark and cloudy,so I decided to buy a .20 syringe filter to try to clear it up.I found a web site that sells the filters,do they just screw on a regular syringe,or do I need a special syringe to use with the filters?Sorry for the stupid question,but this filtering thing is all new to me.

No, this is not a dumb question. Look on the site you will see many dumb questions.

I just triple filtered it. The .2 filter like the .45 screws onto the end of the barrel and you attach the needle to the filter. Pushing it through the .2 is very slow, but it will be very, very clear. I would highly recommend it.
