Question about Nascar

Something I find strange about it is that the real difference appears to be the quality and speed of the pit crews... the drivers are usually so close together that any significant advantage usually results from the efforts of the pit crews...

so how come no one mentions them? or am I missing something?

please explain.

And they have a pit crew "super bowl" every year.

My ex-brother-in-law went to pit crew school.
They make wicked amounts of cash, plus get bonused based on wins.

the driver usely thanks the pit crew if they keep the driver up front all day. some crews are faster than others and keep their driver up front that helps to win more races. its all a team effort
