Here's the latest extract from Andy's book of home steroid chemistry.
Here's a test to see if your steroid is underdosed. It's a bit more quantitative that the freezer test.
Take one ml of your steroid into a 5cc syringe. Now extract this with three, 1-2ml portions of DMSO. This is done by pulling the DMSO into the syringe along with the oil and mixing thoroughly then pushing the DMSO out of the syringe and into a small container. The DMSO will extract the steroid from the oil but wont mix with the oil itself.
Now add ice cold water to the DMSO. The steroid will fall out of solution. Filter this out and weigh it. Add more ice cold water to the DMSO to make sure all of the steroid has precipitated.
The only draw backs to this procedure are 1) It is not qualitative, meaning, it won't tell you WHAT your steroid is.. Just how much of it you have. and 2) You need a balance that's accurate to at least the 100th of a gram.
Note- DMSO is VERY hydroscopic-- You need to make sure it is free of water before using.
