Q.insulin+ala?

can i take ala with insulin or is it best to avoid after insulin injection but take other times of the day?

I will bump it for you. The both of them together scare me. I totally stopped using slin after I discovered ALA. To me it works almost as well with out the fear of added fat or even death.

No, ALA is not as powerful as insulin....but ALA does mimick insulin and ALA also raises insulin levels.....so it can be an alternative to insulin.

my advice is to not use any insulin mimicking or insulin effecting suppliments while taking insulin

by that i mean at the exact same time

if you are taking slin 4 days a week on the off days you could take ala but on the days you take insulin dont do it

the interaction of slin and these suppliments are unknown and if you are taking insulin you really dont need them anyway

you can take insulin mimicking substances while on an insulin cycle as long as it is not on the same day as an insulin injection but i dont think it is needed... save it for when you are not using slin. 16 hours after last shot should be safe for supplimentation or 16 hours after last supplimentation should be safe for slin injection
