Q: Creatine absorbtion with 'Var: How effective?

Most are aware of Anavar and the effects of increasing creatine absorbtion by the muscles. But it is also known that loading up on simple carbs helps with creatine absorbtion. Here is the Q: If you are taking Anavar, is it still necessary to load up on high glycemic carbs to further help with creatine absorbtion or would it be a waste? Because if the Anavar helped with creatine absorbtion so much so that you didn't need to load up on the carbs, then it would seem like you could just use the pure creatine monohydrate powder with zero carbs. Anyone?

Bump for answers. Anyone know? Perhaps not because any studies may not have been done as regard to this. But I would like to hear what some have to say.

I dont know if you need simple carbs or not. But i know you must have carbs for it. Same thing as working out and drinking a zero carb protein drink, that sucks.

Bump

carbs are necessary when taking creatine because it rise your insulin which will increase is transport to the muscles. If you dont take the simple carbs you will not have an insulin response and less creatine will be absorb by your muscles.

I think that if I was in your situation I would take the simple carbs because it is not working the same way has anavar does. Anavar only increase the quantity of creatine that can be synthetised(sp?) during your cycle of anavar.

interesting question badazz.... to add to it, even though simple carbs helps with creatine absorbsion and creatine is usually taken right before a workout, should you not take in simple carbs right before a workout because your pancreas will release insulin to break it down and the insulin tells the ATP to stop converting to ADP releasing energy, and when you work out, you woint get as effective training and results. When ATP converts to ADP, a phosphate molecule is released providing energy to flexs your muscle.....then the phosphate molecules reattach to ADP to form ATP again. Insulin counteracts that..... Sorry to add to the complexity of this thread but, whattya think?

solution: take it post workout? that way all of the creatine will be absorbed with the insulin spike. you need simple carbs post workout anyway.

powder creatine, maybe... but the liquid (good) creatine you're supposed to take pre-workout, no?

It should be noted that all forms of AAS increase creatine phosphate synthesis, and that there is nothing in research that says creatine does this any better than say, testosterone.

That shit is total garbage...HPCL (if I remember correctly) test showed no active creatine.
