K KILLER2001 New member Apr 19, 2002 #2 Im not positive on this, but I dont think it burns fat, however, it is helpful when dieting to help maintain muscle. Like I said, im not sure on this, but if you run a few searches, im sure you could find out everything you need to know.

C Charles Ray New member Apr 20, 2002 #3 makes sense that it can burn fat...but u'd basically have to eat ONLY pyruvate as a source of carbohydrates.
