help....I got a fucking virus in my computer that is fucking up my whole life very quickly...any programs you can recommend for "wndows XP" to clean it out....whats a good virus cleaning program?...I want something that "NUKES" them to a firey -painful - death...thanks...I am loosing my mind.

dude there is free anti virus software that updates automatically, therefore you have no exscuse

search on google for "AVG - free edition"

I take odd pleasure in getting rid of viruses manually instead of using antivirus software. Once you know which one you have, it's usually pretty easy.

i take pleasure in not getting them in the first place. i don't even remember the last virus i had on any of my computers.

I like to go on Kazaa and do searches for "virus.exe" and download and run them all.

I hate norton, it takes forever and a day to scan your computer and then most of the time it wont even be able to quarantine them. Download a free virus scanner and see if that does the trick. If it doesnt help, restart in safe mode and try it again.

If you know what its called do a google search for it and there will be tutorials on how to eliminate it.

I'm joking dude. And you can get viruses from just browsing, you don't necessarily have to run malicious files.

yo dude, i just had to have a buddy of mine reformat my hard drive cause of a stinkin virus. it sucked something bad cause i lost all my files and then i had to set it all back up again. total pain in the ass.
now i got a virus scanner thats up to date and i've been working on reinstalling all my stuff.
i went to www.symantec.com

u can get spyware or adware from browsing if you say yes to trust company and dl their crap. but from general browsing no u can't.

anyway i'd listen to these guys and just get some virus scanning software. i'm trying mcaffee right now. i've had norton but it takes up too much ram.

Sasser is one that can infect you by just being connected to the Internet.



There is at least one that can infect .html files.

you guys are awesome ...thanks I do what Chewy recommends first cause its easy...I was just able to log on right now...the virus was picked up here....pics of women...fuck!!! that'll teach me wont it?? it slows the puter down to a crawl and wont do anything...leaves ghosts and trails the mouse...takes an hour to log on if you can log on...wont allow me to go some places...then the virus will disappear like now...MFr!!!!!! I will get Karma to you guys later...thanks alot...let me go clean this fucking thing.....
