Purchasing in Ukraine

I am going to be spending some time in Eastern Europe over the summer, mostly in the Ukraine. I am curious as to what kind of availability they have over there. Is it like Mexico where you can walk into any pharm and purchase the products, or do you have to have a connection on the black market over to purchase (much like here in USA/Can)

I have neer been there before but have heard all kinds of stories about how the availability is much greater than on this side of the globe.

Any insight / suggestions woudl be greatly appriciated.
