PS3 vs. Xbox 360.....hmmmm

Anybody going to pick it up(providing you can find one and afford it) when it comes out in I think November??

I was leaning heavily towards the xbox 360 but after looking at all the games,gameplay and ability the ps3 seems to have, I might just wait and get the ps3.

The loaded ps3 will be nearly twice the price of a loaded 360. I doubt Blueray is worth that much.

PS3 all the way, for the games mainly. I have never been an XBox fan

only a limited supply due to manufacturing has kept it "hot".

Non-Backwards compatibility and price killed the xbox. No one wants to repurchase all these games, that aside from HD aspects, are essentially the same.

PS3 will wipe xbox 360 off the map. The xbox will continue to do well for years to come. Xbox 360: not sure.

i'm not sure what 360 your playing but it IS backwards compat with the hard drive.

i bought 360 last month after waiting it out for ps3... i found that price was way too high for me to ever buy to play video games.

i'm extremely pleased with the 360, and i hated regular xbox (except madden, i thought madden was far better on xbox).

Fact: Hardly any PS3 footage has been actual gameplay up to this point. Most are cutscenes. Even G4TV which covered the E3 kept saying how disappointing Sony's presentation was because of lack of actual gameplay.

Fact: Microsoft made the 360 easier for developers to work with via kit and Microsoft support to developers. This will draw many developers to the xbox plus make games more advanced.

Fact: The ps3 is a lot higher price than the xbox. A LOT.

Fact: There will be a usb HD-DVD add-on for the 360 very soon and should be well under $200.

Fact: Many exclusive and highly anticipated games coming in the near future will be on xbox360. Check out Gears of War, Halo 3, Brothers in Arms, Crackdown, Turok, Too Human, New GTA, Ninja Gaiden 2, etc.

There has been more 360's available than other console launches. The 360 is just popular, plain and simple. The PS3 will face shortages I gaurantee you, mainly because it is a marketing strategy. Same as with the 360.

Which proves again you have no clue. The 360 is bc. Plus not many people replay old games.
Price killed the xbox? lol, so you are praising a console (PS3) which costs even more? too funny.
The games are not the same. Try playing a few before you say such a thing.
and if you think PS3 will be more advanced visually and technically then why are all the developers saying they can do more with the 360 than PS3 due to developer kits and microsoft tech supports?

I think you meant PS3 instead of xbox in your 2nd sentence. and IMO I believe you will be proven wrong in the near future.
