Proviron......any rebound after use?

Well, I posted this thread a few days back and didn't get much of a response, so here I go again.

I plan on taking it "alone off cycle" just to for libido issues and free up some test in the body and hopefully lean out a bit being it binds so well to SHBG. My question is, would there be any rebound affect of SHBG when coming off Proviron?

From what I understand it should be very little because Proviron doesn't really aromatize. However, keep in mind that it is technically a steroid, meaning that it has the potential to shut down your natural production if used for prolonged periods.

Macro has said in other posts that there really isn't much known data for hard shutdowns, etc.

Well like I said Im running it for an increase in Libido and free up some test, so your telling there's no point? Im not looking to get big here.

Why are you considering steroids if you don't want to get big? Your best bet would be proper diet and training. You can make dramatic changes to your body that way.

I think this guy's got experience with steroids from before, he's just in-between cycles right now and is looking at Proviron as a bridge to keep his dick feeling tingly and maybe retain some of his gains.

My philosophy is that you need to get off all aas in between cycles and let your body recover fully on its own. If your concern is Mr. Happy (and believe me, it's my biggest reason for living so I'm with ya), I would consider cialis in between cycles.

Cialis is amazing. It not only give you bonors that could cut glass, but it increases sensitivity, at least for me. Rather than use Proviron to improve drive and increase test while off, just keep cialis on hand and enjoy.

I've been off AAS since last may of 2006. I added some Proviron to the mix this last December up until now (50mg/d), and I can tell a positive difference in my overall look, from the time before I started taking it.

Woops...been taking 10mg/morning of Paperbol since last Thursday after my Gyno and hernia surgeries. So 10mg/d of Paperbol and 50mg/d of PaperMest. I can tell both working.

YES, it will work for this purpose.

It is mainly prescribed for men to increase libido guys. Of course it will work for that. 50mg ed is a good dose for that.

It's really not an effective anabolic. It gets converted to "diol." Those who claim that they wind up looking harder from just using this alone are probably getting benefits from lowering estrogen in their system so they look harder in that respect AND the higher amount of free testosterone running in their system which is related to an elevated protein synthesis. Medically it's used to treat impotence and is supposed to increase sperm count. So have at it. You're going to use it exactly what it really was intended for.

No, it's not an anabolic steroid. Your HPTA is shut down by estrogen converted from the high test levels. Not the test itself. Proviron blocks the hormone that regulates your free test so it frees up more test. But it also holds down estrogen at the same time. It's not known to shut down your HPTA.

Nice, this is exactly what I was thinking it does after reading a lot on it. It's good to get practical experience as well, that's why I posted here. So I will run it for 4 weeks or so and hopefully reep the benefits i was looking for (libido increase, free up test, lean out a bit.....)
