It is hard, you want your protein in food, not just shakes and bars, so go to costco.
If you need to drink your protein get it from Milk Protein Isolate powder or Egg White Protein powder... it fills you up, and digests slowely unlike whey, great all around protein for not near workout time.BeautifulBiceps said:Whats the difference betwen whey and food? I drink protein all throughout the day, one sip at a time.mlong23 said:Food provides your body with much more nutrients than a shake can. I think that your body is able to break down the protein in food easier than in a shake. I feel that with a straight whey protein shake, it is hard for the body to digest it all at once. You should still always have a whey shake after workouts.
If possible and you need another shake throughout the day, drink a casein protein shake. It is a slow digesting protein.
