1-2 grams per lb. of bodyweight.

just eat alot of protein man, Dont worry about to much just make sure you get enough, all the counting shit is way overrated

1 gram per lb not on a cycle
2 grams per lb on a cycle,

It is hard, you want your protein in food, not just shakes and bars, so go to costco.

Whats the difference betwen whey and food? Whey comes from milk to technically it's food.

If you need to drink your protein get it from Milk Protein Isolate powder or Egg White Protein powder... it fills you up, and digests slowely unlike whey, great all around protein for not near workout time.

Technically I don’t know, but it is the general consensus that you want your protein from food, as in fish, chicken, beef, tofu etc…

How many grams of protein you take depends on how many grams of carbs and fat you take in as well. The general idea is 1g of protein per pound if you're taking in a sufficient amount of carbs. But if you were cutting carbs, then you would increase your protein to 2g of protein per pound. The increase of protein is needed to make up for the defficiency of calories from cutting your carbs.

Food provides your body with much more nutrients than a shake can. I think that your body is able to break down the protein in food easier than in a shake. I feel that with a straight whey protein shake, it is hard for the body to digest it all at once. You should still always have a whey shake after workouts.

If possible and you need another shake throughout the day, drink a casein protein shake. It is a slow digesting protein.

I drink 2 or 3 shakes a day but they are mostly whole milk, ANPB and eggs w/ a little bit of whey. But this is in addition to 1.5-2lbs of red meat.

I drink protein all throughout the day, one sip at a time.

problem with the shakes is the protien dosen't stay in your system very long, so you have to take a little thruout the day.
