What do you guys think about mixing your protein powder with water ? I've read a few posts that say it is a waste and the body will only absorb minimal amounts of protein when mixed with water. I usually mix 1 scoop (20g) to about 20-25 ounces of water 6 x per day. I consume 2 scoops per sitting.
If I were to mix my protein with something other than water, say milk, i would be consuming almost 3 gallons of milk per week. It would be beneficial considering the added protein and cals, but do you bros think more of the protein will be absorbed when mixed with something other than water ?
