Protein Cycling and why

Trust me, bass knows what he is talking about. However, it should also be noted that protein cycling can also be done in 3 day cycles, 3 days of low protein followed by 3 days of high........, this is very very useful especially if you are cutting and want to gain muscle simultaneously while losing fat, though the results i am sure would not be as dramatic as if you were to go the entire month on low protein, but i still think you will be happy with the results, this method probably won't seem as scary to those who are unwilling to give up high protein for a month. So give it a try, and after you see that it works, then give bass's method a try, that is my 2 cents.

This is pretty old stuff.....Must be a reason why it never made it "big"

I'm not saying that this article is correct, but with even the basic biological knowledge, one can see that protein isn't needed as much as most bodybuilders proclaim. 1 to 1.5 grams per pound of body weight is a little much. Why do you think that protein cycleing didn't make it big? DUH, because if it did then EAS, GNC and other protein powder companies wouldn't be makeing the big bucks anymore. Again, I don't believe in protein cycleing, but I also don't believe in 1 to 1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight. Moderation and variation of foods is still a solid concept. Just my thoughts...

It's funny the noobes with less the 100 posts all want to jump on this bandwagon. I've read hundreds of articles stating protein is needed and the amount, this one article isn't really going to change my mind.

It was a very well written, and it's an interesting Theory. But so is the theory of protein needed for BB. It just depends on what theory you subscribe to.

no flame intended.
Newbie does not mean how many posts you have. People have been here longer than you, but because they don't post replies to everyone else's posts bumping it or just saying hell yeah, does not make them newbies.
