Absorb in one meal? I think you have this all wrong, you can absorb a certain amount of protein per/hr. The average number is between 6-10g, as far as I can remember. But, of course, there is no way to know how an individual w/ a bodybuilding background absorbs the proteins; hence, the reason no-one talks about it. Individual studies costing thousands upon thousands of dollars would need to be conducted, in order to find out.
