Proscar half life??

Hi

Does anyone know the half life of Proscar? Wondering when you should stop taking it if about to go on a course of Deca.

negative MRT its not that little according to doctors you can get away with taking 1mg a pill EOD since half life is very long and will still be in your system. i thing by 24 hours

Both answers are correct.
Terminal elimination half life of Finasteride is 4.7-7.1 hours. Slow accumulation will occure with multiple doses.
But, a single dose of Finasteride will suppress serum DHT level for up to 4 days, much longer then would be expected. Probably it is due to the high affinity of Finasteride for the 5-alpha reductase enzyme.

So I'm thinking... end the proscar about 3 or 4 days before first shot of deca and then recommence about 3 weeks after last shot? This sound about right?
