I have eatten really bad int he past and paying for it now... iv lost most of the weight but there is still fat ontop on my muscle even though im skinny now... I would like to know what sort of diet should i go on... what should i eat and not eat?

Please post your stats
do you train if so what when and how
age, weight, height, bf% if u can

sample of a days eating

in the mean time u can make small steps by:

eating 1.5g of protein per lbs of weight minimum
Drinking at least 4ltrs of water a day
eliminating sugars, refined and processed carbohydrates
getting good quality fats
upping green veggies

Yes i do train. I work my arms and chest and stomach 3-5 times a week depending how im feel... i usually workout for about 1 hour each time I goto the gym. Im am 21 years old, 150 weight pounds, 5 11" height.

MY normal day I usually have a bowl of captin Crunch in the morning... then threwough the day i eat chocalte chip oat meal bars. then for dinner i usually have a steak, or chicken with rice or patatos or garlic bread.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to eliminate sugars, refined and processed carbohydrates (i.e. Capt Crunch). Look into Kashi or Fiber One cereal...Choco chip oatmeal bars, though YOU Think are healthy, aren't very good. Most likely (95% of the time), they contain HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP aka sugar), big no-no :(

Dinner wise, chicken breast is nice. In liew of garlic bread and a baked potatoe, have some yams or sweet potatoe and some veggies.

Your diet needs work. Right now, start eliminating unnecessary sugars...

oatmeal is a great addition to your diet arsenal. If it tastes too bland for you, add a scoop of your fav protein powder and mix :)

You have many choices for meals. Chicken breast, steak, tuna, fish, the list can go on and on. Add some fibrous veggies to the meal and voila

Where can i get a complete list of everything that is good to eat and what i shouldnt eat... like usually for lunch i goto tim hortins and get a BLT sandwhich... is the bacon and the bread bad?

they also have chicken salad sandwhich and turkey.. should i get it on white or wholeweat?

You need to clean up your diet a little, bro. That doesn't look anything like a good bodybuilding diet. You have to cut out all refined sugars and stick with natural foods for your carb sources ie sweet potatoes, oats and some brown rice. Also you need to increase your protein intake by eating high protein foods like eggwhites, chicken breasts, lean cuts of steak, whey protein, cottage cheese and fish. All of these should be grilled ofcourse. Try to eat more vegetables and salads too!

I have a problem that i get really hungry during the days what should i eat thats healthy for a snack to keep me full until dinner?

I also smoke weed so that burns away alot of my food so i am really skinny just i have fat ontop.

captain crunch tastes good :)~ though I haven't had it in years... I should try it again sometime..

simplexx: weed might be increasing your appetite.. plus it just makes me feel tired and shitty, I don't see how people could like it... ANYWAY as for snacks... really depends on what type of diet you want to go on? what kinda stuff would you like to see on a diet? high carb? timed carbs? low carb? mmm... but a lot of vegetables are good for most diets anyway.. you could snack on celery/broccoli/green beans/cucumbers etc...

my Training Partner will get a box of cereal (any type he feels like) and sit at his computer with it, a bowl, a spoon and a carton of soy milk and just eat the whole box.. lol and........... he's usually between 6-7% bf year round. crazy genetics.. hehe

Well im trying to get the fatty main layer off my body cause im not a fat person at all im acutally under weight for my height its just i got a fatty layer on the surface im trying to get rid of.

I'd look into a CKD
but before you do something like that i'd clean up your diet and see how you go from there

here's my tips again lol
1. Eat between 1.5-2g of protein per Lbs of lean body weight

2. Eat smaller, frequent meals throughout the day as opposed to 2 or 3 larger meals. Your body will handley protein synthsesis better this way, manage insulin and blood sugar levels and remain in positive nitrogen balance if you get protein at each meal.

3. Eat Quality Protein sources at each meal

4. Eat only Non processed, unrefined, Low Glycemic Carbohydrates when you can, on a regular basis except of course after training when an Insulin spike is desired. At this point the Higher the GI the better (Glucose or Dextrose/Maltodextrin blend works best

5. Try to eat about 5 Grams of Fiber per meal (Except Post Workout)

6. Don't forget your fats, Make sure you get your dose of EFAs from Flax Oil, Fish Oils, Nuts, Oily Fish or Olive Oils

7. Drink about 4-6litres of Fresh Water per day

8. Avoid Fried Foods and foods containiing Hydrogenated Vegetable oils. These are both nonos on any diet

9. Eat At Least 25% of your Calories From Fat, No more than 50% in Carbs and the rest in Protien

10. Enjoy your food, Eat to live not Live to Eat

urrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
don't be that guy
you need to train your entire body
this will help you look better, as well as make your body more efficient at burning fuel

i won't mess with this because i would just be repeating everyone else

I would suggest you try a CKD (cyclical ketogenic diet). For, CKD is all the things you're looking for; you're not hungry while in Ketosis, Ketones are muscle (protein) sparing and you're able to eat a wide variety of foods.

CKD is basically a modified Ketonic diet (think atkins) that is low-carb days 1-5 and contains a carb-up on days 6-7.

Take a look at my CKD manual for further instructions:

Is it ok to buy netragrian bars to eat as snacks threwout the day cause at school its really hard to eat well.

The bars have way too much sugar and carbs, I would suggest you get yourself some protein and bring protein shakes to school: www.proteinfactory.com

Everything i look at Has sugar... what should i stay away from like 7.2G of sugar is that alot?

Depends on how many servings and how you're going to use it. Keep in mind that MOST foods that are convinient are going to be bad for you. Also, a product can have 7g sugar but 60g carbs, so don't get the numbers mixed up - it's the carb count that matters.

Maybe you can bring a bag of almonds and walnuts w/ you to school.

Alot of people tell me to watch out for carbs... but in my protein shakes there are sooo many carbs?

You should be using protein that has very few carbs per serving - 5g at the MOST. If you're not, check out
www.ProteinFactory.com

I like their protein...

Which is the best to buy and do they ship to canada?

I think ProteinFactory ships to canada and I think they have the best protein mix out there - at least that's what my experience has been.

which one do you buy which name?

Eggwhite protein/Caseinate/whey Isolate

Usually you can do a mix of Egg white/Caseinate (50/50).
