I was on Propecia for 5 years, from the ages of 25 - 30. After 5 years of consistent use, I somehow ran out and after about 2 weeks noticed a boost in libido and a depression that seemed to lift. Yeah, I was suffering from depression, but thought it was anxiety from work. I never took the shit again! Now, 6 years later, I have the libido, test level, and FSH & LH levels of a 90 year old man also. My urologist just prescribed Clomid to try to get my HPTA jump started. PROPECIA IS POISON. STAY AWAY FROM IT!!
I have a number of other friends who tried it for anywhere from a few weeks to a few months and all discontinued use because of sexual side effects. The purported 1-2% of males that experience sexual side effects is total BULLSHIT!
Now that I have a problem on my hands I've been researching the shit out of Propecia and have found that there are thousands of other men out there who have more serious side effects than me. There are countless websites dedicated to telling people how bad Propecia is. Here is just one of many.
