Update on the First week of a 14week Ketogenic diet.
I am one of GS's clients.

Started at 230lbs 27% bodyfat.

Monday - Day One.
Ate foods listed on the info. George sent me.
Easy day.
Workout Chest and Triceps.
decent workout.

Tuesday - Day Two.
No problem with foods sticking to it.
Cardio 20 minutes 30 seconds 5mph - 30 seconds 8mph.
Almost puked felt like I was going to pass out.

Wednesday - Day Three
Have a craving for anything sweet-stuck to the program.
Temptations galore - A big Fat Steak cured it.
Workout Legs and Shoulders.
low weight high reps on legs.
heavy on shoulders.
Felt tired - dizzy .
not a bad day.
used keto sticks to test for ketones. Negative result.

Thursday - Day four -
Still craving something. Good ole sweet stuff.
stuck to the diet no problem.
Cardio 20 min - 30sec 5mph - 30 seconds 8mph.
a little better than Tuesday NOT MUCH!
KETO STICKS RESULT POSITIVE LIGHT PURPLE!!


Weight has dropped to 223.5 lbs LOST 6.5 pounds.

This doesn't mean that you should stop aerobic activity or weight training-just lower the intensity. Limit aerobics to 2 days per week on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. You should train big muscle groups like legs, back, and/or chest on Monday when you still might have stored glycogen in your muscles. dice,have you ever been on a ketogenic diet? Or do you know anyone that has? I am jsut trying to get some first hand information on what to expect. I will be in ketosis for the 1st 12 days. Then I come out for 2 days and back on for 5. Continuing the on 5 off 2 for the remainder of the 14 weeks. Just looking for some firsthand infromation.

Like - Did the lack of carbs create frustration
Inability to think clearly
How much constipation did you have (if Any)
Did the fat loss start slowly and then progress rapidly or
was it a slow progression.
What are the hazards
What are alternative foods other than
meat,cheese,eggs, chicken, salad
WHAT WERE YOUR RESULTS?
 
I did it for a long time and lost a ton of fat without cardio-the fat loss is always greatest at the start of the keto diet. I ate everything dr dipasquale advised(bacon,sausage,eggs,ham,cheese...)
