Progesterone and progrestin

machinehead

New member
Hello,

I'm new here :)

Some steroids aromatase into the progrestin.
What is the difference between Progesterone and progrestin?

Thanks.

Progesterone is a C-21 steroid hormone involved in the female menstrual cycle, pregnancy (supports gestation) and embryogenesis of humans and other species. Progesterone belongs to a class of hormones called progestogens, and is the major naturally occurring human progestogen.

Progesterone should not be confused with progestins, which are synthetically produced progestogens.

my wife is on it. we're trying to have kids... she doesn't ovulate naturally so we're trying gradual progesterone to get her to normal levels to give us a fighting chance at having kids....

sorry. a little OT

Hey,

Thanks for your explanation, good luck with your situation :)

No problem. they actually tried clomid but her lh - leutenizing hormone - levels wouldn't rise. I was half tempted to give her some of mine
