I'm hesitant to answer here, because I'm not sure you'll actually listen. Yes, meal frequency is important. Is it the prime determiner of your success? Well, if you're fasting for an entire day, and then eating all your calories in one big meal, maybe. But if you eat 4-5 meals vs. 8-10 it is probably not going to be that significant of a difference. First, if you're eating 4 meals at 250cal a piece that means you're getting about 1000cal a day, which is too little. That's a whole different issue, which I won't address here. However, when calories are reduced far enough, many find that less frequent, slightly larger meals will help control appetite better than a bunch of absolutely tiny meals.
