Priceline help?!?!?

Hey guys whats up? I am going to San Diego in November and going to stay at the Grand Hyatt Manchester - Here is my questions I got room discounted for like 140.00 a night - While researching the hotel, I found that a large number of people were able to get a room in the hotel using priceline for about $80 a night - I really wanted to stay at this hotel and wondered what people thought about the priceline process - Let me know

I've used it before, the key is to wait a week before your trip. There is a risk there too though - if your traveling around a holidy you want to do it sooner.

The longer you wait the more desperate the hotel gets to fill up their rooms so they accept lower prices
