Price check on 7.5 pound Isopure, Bob. Price check on Isopure . . .

Alrighty, Boys and Girls.

The starving student once again has some MEASLY flow ($) and is ready to get his bulk on. However, he is also lactose intolerant.

I've found prices for the NEW 7.5 lb. buckets of Isopure ranging from 63 to 75 bucks. Screw that! I want the Real Deal.

52 servings at 50 grams of protein per serving, no carbs, no lactose, no bullshit, and extra calcium and potassium to aid in assimilation and utilization to boot. That's 2600 grams of pure protein per bucket. It's enough to make a brotha HUGE. I figure one of these a month and my protein cares are pretty much taken care of, considering that I already consume around 100-150 grams daily by virtue of my FAT ASS eating habits.

If anyone can find this shit for me for under 60 bills after shipping, I will be one grateful compadre.

P.S. - Any fellow lactose intolerants try Optimum? The label says 98% lactose free, but I'm wondering:

1. Does the stuff taste like Ash like the other whey protein concentrates I've tried?

and

2. Is 98% lactose free enough for a gassy bastard like myself?

But will it make my bowells blow up? And how good does it taste? And it's not carb or fat free . . .

But I may just go that route, and I may just buy it from your store, if you can give me a good reason to.

If 2-3g of carbs are going to wreck your diet then don't go with it. The chocolate moves most volume wise. I use the vanilla in my smoothie machine since the taste doesn't over rule the flavor. It is just a good economical product to go with. If money is no option, go with isopure. I think you could save money by buying optimum and use the savings towards other purchases.

For about the same.

Fast400, I would JUMP on optimum, but like I said, I'm lactose intolerant, and if I bought 10 lbs. of Protein which came out mostly in my shit (which has happened to me with all protein I've taken besides Met-RX and Isopure), not only would it be uncomfortable, but it would be, well, shitty from an economic point of view.

Have you had any feedback from lactose intolerant people about Optimum?

People who claim to have the lactose problem in store seem to handle it fine, although I caution that everyone is effected differently. Why not just buy a 2lb and try it out?
