My normal routine is 3 days on then 1 day off, but on off day I just do abs for 45 mins. Normally I do Chest/Tris, Back/Bis, Legs/Shoulders, then abs

Usually 4 to 5 different excercises per body part but never more than three sets per excercise...

For the last month or so I have had no time since I have been so stressed out with exams that I have been doing day on, day off....

Now I have been hitting it hard as possible, 5 sets of every excercise, and drop sets or supersets after every different excercise. I have been way more sore this past month than ever before... maybe PCT has something to do with it? :p

Do you guys ever switch it up? How do your routines usually go?

I work out 4x a week - Push, Pull, then all the small push & pull stuff I missed, then legs. I also do sprinting workouts 3-5 times a week. I work out at three different gyms also depending where I am and each has different stuff, so it kind of forces me to mix up my routines, which is a great thing IMO.

Do you know of a website where they talk about this Push/Pull way of working out? Is it like a full body deal?

No, its just means all of the push exercises, like bench, pulldowns, military press, etc. and then pull is like curls, one-armed rows, pull-downs, etc. Ends up dividing out to basically back/bi & chest/tri.

I train 5 days a week, hitting each bodypart once per week. I'm running now since I'm dieting for a shoot. When I come off I'll rearrange my bodyparts so that I'm training 4 times a week, still hitting each body part once a week. I've found that split works best.

How do you incorporate your leg workouts with all the running you are doing? Do you take 1 day off or do some light running on leg day, etc?

My split is 5 days a week, Wed and Sun off. Delts and Bis; Chest&Tri's; Back&Hams; Quads&calves. So each bodypart get trained a little more than once a week. Anytime I've tried to drop it to once a week I've lost strength so this works best for me right now.

Depends what you are trying to do. I run track, so I lift legs after because its less important than the actual running. If I just wanted my legs to look good, I would do leg workouts first.

i am dieting and doing shit loads of cardio as well, for me its running outside or the bike in the gym in the morning (well morning for me can be afternoon depending on if i worked 11-7 at the prison the night before) then lifting later on that same day (4 days per week lift t-w-f-sat) (at least 4 days cardio sometimes as many as 6) (weighted abs m-w-f) thats just how im doing it right now can change at a moments notice due to time constraints....

LMFAO! ;) Not that kind of running bro! When I say running I mean when I'm on AAS!LOL! I never run as in cardio. I do the stairs for cardio and that's it.

You do Legs and Shoulders on the same day? That would take me over 2hrs to do...... Maybe youre not working one of them intensely? Sounds like a long workout day to me.....

I do the stairs because it burns the most amount of cals in the least amount of time. I would say that 30 minutes on the stairs is the same as 50-60 minutes on the treadmill. I hate the stairs, but it works the best. Right now I do 30 minutes on the stairs a day.

Mak do you do real stairs or the stairmill? I wish my gym had a stairmill. It does have the Nordictrac incline trainer which goes up to a 50% incline.

2 hours it is Prizz, and not that fun of a two hours mind you.... I did it yesterday and it sucked. The transit strike in NY doesn't help either, I had to walk over 40 blocks home and it is cold!

I do the stepmill. If you go to a serious gym you'll see that all the competitors use the stepmill.

I told ya Sword... ;)

is the stepmill the thing that has what amounts to a real staircase that rotates, and you are about 8 feet up in the air?
