In powdered form we can never be assured of quality. We're not buying a large well known lab's product, we're buying the product of a phantom behind an email address. In addition, anyone that has handled it can tamper with powder.
This is why I don't get all hot and bothered over powdered Anavar.

Nice points guys. But you have to think of it this way as well. When talking about the paper for example, its only going to be as pure as the powder suppliers that fuel them. Basically they have to be tested FREQUENTLY as well by the manufactures to optimize quality. So really .. its the manufactures that give the sources the good rep, so having a good manufacturer is the the most important.
If you get your powders from the same manufactures, there should really be no difference, your just taking out the middle man. Also, from powder form and tab form, mg for mg, wouldnt their be slightly more var in the powder form? The reason I say this, is tabs would have binders and fillers and coloring in where powder would be without it? Pure var.

Keeping in mind that PaperVar is the only "UG" exception I would make. It's true I'm assuming he tests his powder, but I have good reason to think this. He's been in operation for several years and has a reputation to protect. I've never heard a single complaint about it in all this time. I can't say the same of other generic Anavars that have come and gone.Mavy said:

Yes it's all marketing, and of course actually putting out a good product. I make the same decisions for the same reasons in the supermarket everyday.
Very true bro. By the way I was not dissing Paper, I'm just saying that they can only be as good as their powder suppliers, and if you have access to the same suppliers, then you are golden and could save a tun of $$$$.
Unfortunaly the way it works is you cannot buy a personal amount to use from a manufacturer, that is why there are so many powder suppliers out there who buy in large quantities, then sell to the users in the smaller quantities that they need. Your best bang would be to buy directly from a plant, but like I said ... good luck! Factories will not sell you 25g of testosterone enanthate, offer a resend, or give a shit on how they pack the product. I have heard that 90% of all var powders are manufactured by the proficiency of the Chinese, so you can probably bet that a few different sources of var are ultimately coming from the same raw materials.

You can also test their powders as you would any UG labs tabs. Many suppliers have their powders tested on a regular basis, mostly by clients.
