after lifting i've been eating a banana with my pwo shake to get the insulin spike. I was wonderin if a banana is a good choice for this? If not, then what to you guys eat pwo to get your insulin spike?
 
im havin trouble findin dextrose. Is it just like cane sugar or somethin? cause thats all i saw at the store
 
thanks for that post on vitaglo's website, i'm putting together quite an order from them, some of this stuff is a real bargain!
 
just outta curiousity, why dextrose? what would happen if you put some other form of simple sugars instead?

Dextrose causes the most rapid spike in insulin, which is what you want post workout.

Go to any wine making shop and youll get a huge bag of dextrose for dirt cheap.
