Post conversion fina questions

I recently got done making my fina, at first it was perfect, crystal clear and golden yellow, but after sitting for a day it became sort of cloudy. I would like to know if anyone had this experience, when I did a search I did find one where the finished product was cloudy and it was from finakits.com too. I don't understand why because I filtered it twice.

I was also wondering if baking in the oven was a good idea. I wold like to know if you bake or not, and if so the temp and duration. 150 degrees seems to low to sterilize and 250 would seem to be so hot it could break down the tren, but I'm still trying to find info on that. Any help would be great.

it sometimes clouds...I am not sure on the chemistry as to why (oxidation maybe)....I noticed though if I use a .2 micron filter it never clouds....

I boil mine...changes the color to amber....but have always gotten good results

Cloudy or not...it is good to go!

You don't have to worry about the cloudiness but as Burgboy said, filter it through a .2 and it should go away. if you use the .2 that will also take care of any bacteria and spores. You don't have to bake but if you do then 250 for 30 min. I autoclave mine at 250 for 30 min. thats heat and pressure. it will be fine.

I never had that happen with a's kits. I have ordered some of finakits.com and will try them shortly. I'll be usinf a .02 to be safe.
