one gets the two popups at the base page - www.elitefitness.com - that is before it does any cookie checks - so it doens't know that you are a paying member, therefore you get popups.
I just go to www.elitefitness.com/mail and then go to the boards from there

Millhouse is right. Pop-ip ads don't sell anything! I just finished doing an e-commerce report, and from all the data I reviewed it was pretty clear that pop-up's do little more than annoy web users.
The internet is not like a department store where it's possible to tempt customers with impulse itemes. When people want to buy something online, they seek it out directly. Throwing an ad up doesn't work like it might in real life.
Do you see Amazon or Ebay using pop-ups? Nope.

That is one solution, or you guys could help support the site by going Platinum so we can bring you new features and fight to keep the site online.

Geroge i can honestly say that if you added a chat room and some other cool features I would jump on the band wagon and go platinum...Just as long as the price didnt change....Im in college too so my expenditures have to be minimal but Ill try to squeeze that in...

Take a trip there, and download the pop-up stopper. It's the best that I have found, and it stops these ones dead in their tracks.
I supported the site though my purchases from MQ, so I don't feel guilty about not being annoyed by the ads.

When I was a manager for a local movie theatre, I painted a HUGE "Tigger" for that Tigger movie that came out a while ago. Well, I painted it on the glass of the picture window which could be seen from the highway and it got lots of attention. It was nearly perfect to how the artist drew it. No cheeseball likeness.
Imagine up a layout and I'll do it whenever you want. I can also cook up a nice layout if you're stumped.
