It is a legitimate question. I encounterd difficutly in urinating during a cycle involving d-ball. Was only 22 at the time. The problem was very brief, lasted about a week then subsided.

Sincerely :nopity:

yup a very bad infection which hurt like hell when i peed and in my testicles. was on medication for over a month. my doc told me steriods accelerate growth of muscle and can also spped up things that maybe wrong inside the body such as infections and other things.

Well what are the sympthoms for prostate problems? I while back I had some sides like: ejackulating while shiting or pissing, blooding from my ass while shiting, frequent urination, and hemroids. I had these problems while on a sust and winnie cycle, and a winnie/clen/ECA cycle. After I finished those two cycles they went away. But I was wondering if hemroids and ejackulating while shiting or pissing, are related to prostate problems?

In my opinion no, hemroids have nothing to do with prostate problems.

Prostate issues should not be a surprise to anyone who has actually done any reading/reasearch on the subject. It scares the hell out of me to think that these issues are just now being realized by so many people because of a post or two on it. Doesnt anyone actually do any reading beyond message boards?

i knew about it when i started researching about AAS.. But with the recent posts, they make it sound like your doomed to have prostate problems regardless and with test your just speeding up the process..
Considering you take all what is needed to protect it (finastride, saw palmetto(sp?)) All these posts make it sound like most of us have cancerous cells in our bodies and in 20-35 years we're gonna have problems..
I just want to know the reality situation. Who has had it and who hasn't. Science can say one thing, but then again where are all the people with the problems?

I have never had any problems with anything while on the juice, I guess I am lucky, my BP doesn't even go up, but I do drink a ton of water and also take cran extract, finasteride, milk thistle. And I never drink while on cycle.

Believe it or not, something that caused me to have a transitory prostate problem is/was velvet deer antler. I stopped taking it and the problem(s) went away.

Sometimes i found out some pain on my prostate, especially on pissing. I used test 500mg weeks. Next cycle is 1000mg-750mg, but this time i use proscar.

huge prostate problems

well this shit i know about heres my brief but ongoing (lol) prostate problem

my cycle consisted of high amounts of d bol and test/.........
i first knew i had prostate problems by going to the washroom taking a piss you know when you are done you shjake it zip it and tuck it away well about 30 sec to 4 mins afterward a shit load of piss would just leak out on my soaking my boxers and jeans this went on throughtout my 12 weeker and then well past post cycle i tryed all the herbs and vitamins my naturopath told me to i wanted to stay away from the finger up the ass by the doc this sux
had it donw after my problems didnt go away then had to go to a urologist he did this said that it was big time swollen like a 70 year old man with cancer(prostate) so went int he hospital got the tube down the pee pee hole fucking hurt like crazy and makes ya piss all over yourself
the end result i had blood in my urinary tract and sediment in and around my nuts (no shit) its been over a year and it is has just gone away

i will never(repeat) never do another cycle of anything again without taking proscar for at least 2 to 3 weeks b4 starting my cycle and continuing it well after fucking hpta levels fuck man dont be stupid get proscar

The pissing problems are more likely related to urethritis, epididymitis(sp?), or a mild urinary tract infection. Research by leading urologists has found that AS does not cause or increase problems with prostate enlargement or Benign Prostate Hypertrophy(BPH). In fact, most of the research indicates that any prostate enlargement is more likely due to subclinical or undiagnosed prostate cancer. If anyone is interested I can find those articles again.

stories like this that make me reconsider using AAS
sorry you had to go through all that

thanks

The stories shouldn't make you reconsider using bro. They should just help you be prepared. Thats what the boards are for.:)

Actually I would like to see those articles if it's not too much for you. Thanx

here are two articles that discuss the effects of AS on the prostate;

Behre, H.M. (1994). Prostate volume in testosterone-treated and untreated hypogonadal men in comparison to age-matched normal controls. Clinical Endocrinology 40, 341-349.

Tennant, S. (2000). Testosterone does not influence BPH symptoms. Urology Times 28(8), 12.

Here is an exerpt that refers to both articles;

In a research study, a urologist from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee studied the effects of testosterone on the signs and symptoms of BPH in elderly, hypogonadal men ( Tennant, S., 2000). His findings indicate that TRT( testosterone replacement therapy) did not exacerbate BPH symptoms. Studies have shown that supraphysiologic serum levels of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), the metabolite of testosterone linked to BPH and prostate cancer, can result transdermal from applications of TRT ( Arver, S., Dobs, A.S., Meikle, W.A., Carmelli, K.E., Rajaram, L., Sanders, S.W., & Mazer, N.A., 1997). The author of the first study ( Tennant, 2000) goes on to say “ that in fact, patients on TRT that exhibit BPH-related symptoms most likely have undiagnosed prostate cancer or some other underlying disease process rather than an exacerbation of BPH-like symptoms”(Tennant, 2000). Based on current research, another urologist concluded that “testosterone-induced prostate growth should not preclude hypogonadal men from testosterone substitution therapy” ( Behre, 1994).
