Police Brutality Video

I would have bet a shit load of money that the guy was going to be black.........ya fooled me
 
See people like yourself go "I hate cops" until you need one and then you kiss their ass.

Lets face it 99% of the time when a cop pulls you over or asks you a question pertaining to0 something either

A) You are a witness to a crime/accident

B) you got caught doing something you shouldn't have been doig in the first place.

I got into the cops faces once when I was 19. Obviously I lost the fight espec with cuffs on but when I look back on it at age 31 I can tell you I desrved every bit and they should have kicked my ass more, maybe then I would have not kept getting into trouble.
 
I have a couple of cop friends and they'll be the first ones to say (off the record anyways) that police frequently beat the shit out of people.

The thing is, when they beat the shit out of a scumbag everyone loves it (including me, I'm guilty of that as well) but sometimes they catch innocent people as well.

In this video there are more then enough cops to restrain that kid. There was no reason for all of them to beat him. Their adrenalin was running pretty high and I'm sure a few of them have been reprimanded (no donuts for a week)
 
The problem with most of todays youth is they don't respect anything or anyone. I would like to know what the little fuck did
 
I get angry when i see stuff like that so i won't watch it, but I'd have no problem tying those jerks like that down and beating the hell out of them. I cannot stand cops like that. :kaioken:
 
There is alot of truth to what you are saying there rudedawg. They just show the beating they never mention the part where he sliced a cop with a knife or beat an old lady or something.

A little side story, this 80 y/o man used to live beside me in Toronto when I lived there. He was telling me his dad was a city cop which would have been back in the 30's I guess. Well he was telling me that how they would keep punks in line is they would grab whoever was the leader and take him away from his buddies and basically scare him/smack him around. He said for the most part the cops had half the problems with them just by showing the punks who is boss.

Today a kid can do anything and get away with it because some social worker or shrink will say well when he was 5 his mom yelled at him for burning down the house by accident so he has issues.
If I ever have kids I will do everthing to avoid laying a hand on them. But the minute they cross a certain line I would knock em silly laws or not.
It may be considered bad and all by todays standards but honestly this who time out shit and talking about it is not doing any good.
 
I love how people say they hate the police. I'll bet that they're the first people that they call when their ass is in a bind though. Jail is full on innocent people you know. Just ask them. If you believe that one I'll tell you another...
 
Milhouse and Rudedawg, if a day comes that a cop would treat you that way you would be singing a different tune and it could happen believe me. It's not out of the realm of imagination to see a cop beating the shit out of an "upstanding citizen".

When you give police the freedom to abuse "bad" citizens, they will eventually do it to the "good" ones as well.
 
No I doubt very seriously it would happen to me...... Number 1) I try to stay away from an enviroment that would be condusive to something like this happening..... I mean the cops were in full riot gear.

Number 2) I know when to shut my fucking mouth and listen and do as I am told by an authoritative figure. Whether it be a cop, a judge, a boss, etc..... Thanks Mom and Dad!!!!!!

Number3) I am waaaaaaaaaay faster than that fucking guy.:D
 
No matter what the guy did though, Police are only allowed to use so much force that is necessary to keep themselves out of harm. This may include a tackle and handcuffing if the guys unarmed, but in no way should it involve billy clubs, rocks, howitzers, kicks to the face, or watermellons. I hope you guys realize this.

I said clearly that had happened to me when I was 19 and I started.

And I think the cops should have more rights to kick the shit out of people. They are there to serve and protect not suck criminals dicks.

And innocent people getting their ass kicked is few and far between. Everybody who gets their ass kicked goes "wasn't my fault, I didn't do anything" Yeah right.

You have a few bad seeds out there as cops, usually young ones who don't know any better and want to make a name for themselves who will bust people for picking their nose and flicking it but 99% are ok guys.

You are quick to react without fully understanding what you are reacting to. You said you got into a cops face. There have been innocent people who simply ran into a cop having a bad day and gotten their ass beat. Big difference there, eh?

Also, I don't know how the police in Canada behave but here in the states everybody (including the Police) are very, very violent. So, from statistics I've read before I would assume Canadian culture is not as violent as American culture which would explain why you really have no clue what I'm talking about....?

We have plenty of incidents up here too.
But for the most part half of the time the so called "innocents" were not so innocent.

Alot of people on here always say things like "well put yourself in this or that minorities shoes"
Well frankly I think people should put themselves in the cops shoes sometimes.

If more people would stop resisting arrest then they wouldn't get a club upside the head.And like a few people have already said here including myself that alot of people who say "I hate cops" are the first to kiss their ass when they need help.
And what I said before was by no means a flame just my general opinion after being on both sides of life(criminal behaviour and good citizen)
Just my 2 cents.

That is exactly why it wouldn't happen to me. I would do what the fuck they said and let the lawyers hash the shit out. I know I am not going to win against them anyway so why try. Plus if you pull something stupid like resisitng arrest then it is a good bet you are guilty.
 
I've worked closely with Police in my past employements and I have a couple of friends who are police officers as well. Police do abuse their authority. They are human and humans are pretty fucked up to begin with.

What constitutes resisting arrest? If a mob of police officers are approaching me with asp batons and firearms and start to beat on me (and will not stop until they want to) then fuck yeah I am going to resist arrest. That's basic survival-instinct.

I'll agree that many people deserve to get smacked upside the head for their actions. If you have any observational skills at all though, you'll notice in this video that the "perp" is a skinny-ass high-school looking kid. Do you think he was going to overpower all of those officers that were beating the shit out of him?

P-leeeeeease.

That was a beating? Looked more like a pre-school playground fight.

Police should be held to some type of standard, but this guy was obviously running from them. I agree witht the actions taken and would also agree that a bullet to the head would not have been inhumane.

Local law enforcement has yet to adhere to a strict and unified standard of training and ideology. Philosophies vary department to department. Law enforcement is also without government regulation. If local law enforcement followed the same standards of Federal law enforcement you would find better policing. In some departments were the standards for employment are higher and the training is more intense the community record is usually better. Highly educated and sufficiently trained police personnel are less likely to use excessive physical force when apprehending a suspect and are even less likely to use deadly force. Until law enforcement adheres to a strict and accountable standard of operation a stigma will always be present. This is why man sociologist and criminologists feel that the Police are often viewed in the publics eye of lacking and running a truly and complete professional operation

I didn't watch it either. It very well may be a case of many cops against one guy, in which case a brutal beating may be unnecessary. However, I would doubt there are many confrontations that are ended by only a tackle and a handcuffing if the perp is putting up a fight. A stick or a billy club or another weapon is often required to end the confrontation quickly, rather than using the means most painless to the suspect. It takes escalation (weapons and tactics) to subdue a hostile perp and using a high degree of force is justified to insure the officer is not injured in the line of duty--or at least prevent it. However, we all have seen abuse of the power and it's despicable no doubt. So no it's not an all or none thing.

No matter how much a man may not like cops, if someone was trying to do that man harm these guys would do their best to stop it.
 
Have you ever fought a man all pcp'd up or cracked out of his mind. Have you ever feared for your life or others during a fight. Well cops do to. People do make mistakes in all professions. Many more ways to huirt a person than violence though. If you have never been a cop in a situation as those you see in videos then shut the fuck up and don't comment cause you have no clue what it is like.
 
Just in general .It is kind of like saying you know how someone feels when you can't possibly. Police officers have very unique encounters with people. And for the most part are good people or they wouldn't be where they are. ANd no flamers they aren't out to get your juice and gear. Only those who openly flaunt it cause attention to themselves, police don't go after recreatiojnal pot users either what a waste of time.
 
That did not happen in the US...not sure what country though..... My guess is that if the guy didn't run from the police (or military people..can't tell) he wouldn't of got his ass beat..

I have been out partying so many times and been in situations I shouldn't have been around when cops are swarming and I have never, I repeat, never, had a cop touch me, let alone beat my ass.

It comes back to respecting authority. You may not like it, and if they are violating your civil rights, than come back and sue. But in the mean time, don't be a dumb ass and start questioning the cops "officer safety" tactics and his job in the middle of an incident. You don't know what they got called to.

Some old lady calls you in, standing by your car at the gym talking to your juiced up buddy, and she thinks you are about to fight. Your protein bottle has now turned into a gun and that is what she tells 911 on her cell phone.

Well being Mr. Hot-Head "I know my rights" dickhead. Try not putting your hands up when the cops arrive on a man with a gun call. It may not be fair, and it wasn't just, but grow up and realize that shit happens.

For all you cop supporters, keep supporting them and don't worry about trying to convince these cop-haters otherwise. When I was a cop several years ago, that is the crap I heard all the time. I feel sorry for them now knowing what they get paid and what they have to deal with.

Just my two cents worth.

I know a cop that said he couldn't wait until someone gave him an excuse to fire his gun. The sad thing is there are many cops that think this way.

something like that would NEVER happen in chicago. there would have been more cops and they wouldnt have let up so soon...

Hey dumbass do know the hearings and paperwork you have to go through if you discharge your weapon more so if it is at a civilian then you get to go to court , use of force hearing etc. You pray you never have to fire your weapon.
 
I understand that the police have a crazy job to do and the stress level is way up there.I do not judge all police by the actions of a few and I in turn do not want to be judged by the actions of others and be profiled and harassed.I thought about being a cop but it is a thankless job and if you cannot act as a robot and not let your emotions get the best of you then the job is NOT FOR YOU! There are too many hot head officers who cause a good deal of trouble for all the rest of the good police out there.This society is very violent and there is little respect for the law and people have no problem killing them and when people can shoot at the police and hurt them, well you and me really are not safe!!!They need too really weed out the bad ones and fast and please DO IT BEFORE THEY ARE HIRED BECAUSE IF THEY ARE A TIME BOMB TICKING WELL WHAT PERSON WANTS TO BE THE ONE AROUND WHEN THEY EXPLODE?? NOT ME, and then all the lawsuits and so on just look at the L.A POLICE DPT. they have to go over all those arrests that the crooked crew of cops made and all the people who they set up.This happend not too long ago and these rogue officers set up and murdered HUNDREDS OF INNOCENT PEOPLE and now the city of L.A has to PAY but they paralyzed some of the victims and put guns in their hands to justify the shootings. If that happend to me I would want to kill one of them myself because WHO IS WATCHING THE POLICE????? THEY HAVE TOO MUCH POWER AND KNOW HOW TO ABUSE IT, NOT ALL BUT JUST A FEW.....
