Ummmm call me crazy but why dont they just teach these kids proper nutrition, good self-esteem and give them a ball, some rollerblades, a jumprope, bicycles and teach them how to play hopscotch, kickball, tag, hide-n-go-seek, monkey-in-the-middle?
Yes poledancing is an activity that requires a great deal of strength and calorie expenditure, but so is subduing a criminal with a nightstick after chasing them on foot through seedy neighborhoods. I dont think that CHILDREN need learn either.

I am dead serious here. You have no idea how bad it is with girls once they get out of elementary school. It just isnt "cool" to play anymore. They literally walk around and eat poptarts then starve the rest of the day so "they dont get fat."

I am horrified at how STOOPID most of the other parents are.
These young girls are giving head at parties to MANY boys at age 10. So why does the fact that some rocket scientist thinks that teaching CHILDREN pole-dancing for "physical activity in order to keep their daughters from becoming fat(ter)" surprize you?

Can't speak for high school, but in Elem Sch - they are cutting PE time all the time. Right now, in my county, Elem Sch kids (grade 1-5) go to PE 2x a week for 50 min. Of course, after roll call, game explaining, lining up, etc - the actual play time is about 20-30min.

When I was a kid we had jump ropes, played hopscotch, duck-duck-goose, dodgeball and kickball in elementary school. Most of these kids dont know HOW to play these games or have ever even heard of them.

My kindergarteners on the other hand - when I take them out to play - Jeez o peets ..... they can run circles around a jackrabbit. I love watching them play.

It simply wasn't "cool" for them to play as they got passed kindergarten. Then they were more concerned with "fat free fruit roll-ups" (not even kidding) and not getting their hair mussed - to fit in with their little friends who had braindead mothers.
I even volunteered my help to both the elementary and middle school as this was a topic that was VERY near and dear to me for obvious reasons. Fell on deaf ears.
I suppose I cant blame them for ignoring my offer to give guidance in light of the fact that I had been personally smeared by my ex. Maybe somewhere down the line I can be of assistance to kids, especially young girls.

LOL. You know some 200+'er out there has already ripped a hole in their floor and ceiling. I just had a business idea, film these chicks. lol. I could probably watch a hour or so of these morons. Only the big ones. LOL. That would probably emotionally scar me.

My school gave me the chance to stop doing PE at the age of 12 if I did German lessons instead, they valued doing German more than any form of exercise. I played loads of sport so carried on (plus I didn't want anymore homework haha), but loads of other didn't. PE in schools was completely crap when I was in school, and I'm not sure it's got much better since.
Referring to the topic, with pole dancing not just being for strippers (ignoring the actual article...) I was out in town on the weekend and witnessed two men going up and down the pole for a good twenty minutes. Good on them for some of the moves they were doing, but still it wasn't a pretty sight!!

God bless feminism. I like the new thinking, boob jobs because it makes the women feel better about themselves, pole dancing for a workout and to finish it off sex with many different men becuase their liberated now. LOL. Guys, we couldn't have planned this out better.
