Points off you liscence

How does the point system work with insurance and speeding tickets. I got a speeding ticket the other day and the cop said I would get points off my liscence. SO do I have anything to worry about, how many points will raise my insurance and how many points till i get in trouble?

You will get point on to your license.
4-11 depending on how fast you were going.

Check out the DMV online and you can check exactly.


3 Speeding or 11 points in 18 months give you a suspension.

You can take the 5 or 6 hour classes I can't remember which to reduce your points up to 3 points.

Ii've heard this works but have never
got a ticket to try it,
after you go to court and get the fine for say 90$
send them a check for 93$ you will then get a check
back in the mail for 3$, throw it in the trash, until
this check is cashed the ticket cannot be processed
and they will not bother you cause you paid the ticket
but you will get no points on your license

just something i've heard, might be worth a try
