poink , Alger Hiss and Noel Field

Now since the thread we were debating on was closed (God knows why) when I got in this morning I want to draw your attention to the following:
1. You brought up Hiss , you chose your battleground , I merely smacked you outta the park - which brings me onto my second point of Noel Field:

Field was a former colleague of Alger Hiss's. His name was brought into the case most prominently by Hede Massing. In recent years, Hiss's detractors have pointed out that in the early 1950s when Field was imprisoned in Hungary for espionage, he implicated Hiss. Others note that Field was being tortured and held in solitary confinement at the time and was telling his captors anything they might want to hear.

After his release from prison in the mid-1950s, Field sent Hiss a note reaffirming his belief in Hiss's innocence, saying, "I need hardly tell you how angered and outraged I was over the irresponsible allegations made against you. Your testimony fully harmonizes with the memory I had of you during our all-too-brief acquaintance in Washington."

The web site quoted is not a creation of a disgruntled student , it is a notably honourable attempt by American foundations for the benefit of law students.

"The Alger Hiss Story" Web site has been created with grants from The Alger Hiss Research and Publication Project of the Nation Institute and from a Donor Advised Fund at the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona. This Web site recreates one of the most important legal cases in this country's history, often cited as a turning point in 20th century American thinking. The Web site is dedicated to students of recent American history at all levels, including high school, college, and post-graduate work; to the research community of scholars, archivists, and teachers; and to a wide general audience - to all who Search for the Truth.

You may note poink that you most definitely do not fit into the last category.
What's the matter pinky boy, is the water too deep for you now?

And?? You gleen all of your information from one source and also the testimony of Hiss himself?

While Hiss' case is up for debate, the 1995 release of the Venona Files, which were decoded messages of US-based Soviet agents, gathered by the US, further implicates Hiss, Harry Dexter White, and the Rosenburgs, along with numerous others as true Soviet agents.

What is astounding is the wealth of information from inside the former USSR proving espionage programs within the US, and the near imbecilic denial by Americans that this ever occured or that it mattered not.

Lock this bitch just to keep it from giving the other threads a severe case of BORING!!!!
