PO box for gear.

I tried to get a po box today and they require all sorts of stuff. Two forms of I.D. and my home address, I can't be anonymous given out all that info. I might as well save my 75 bucks a year and keep it coming to the house.

i don't know if i was paranoid off the EQ or wut but the postal clerk was lookin at me all crazy. look like she wanted to say 'why do you need a PO box meat head? for your JUICE!' I guess i'll still go ahead and get it, rather be safe than sorry .

you have to tell them that the address on your ID isn't valid. you just recently went through some marriage turmoil and are staying with a friend. i can talk some shit, and had no problem convincing the UPS store into believing me

I would think it would be better to have delivered to house because of all the security hoops you have to jump through to get a p.o. box. Just not worth it. You could always leave the package sitting in your mailbox if you suspect something.

It's the same thing as having it delivered to your doorstep. If they suspect something, they'll make you sign for it and they'll have you. I have it delivered to a made up name at my work (I am the owner).

PO box is the way to go.

have the source overnight the gear using USPS first class shipping. (no sig. required on your end)

get a big enough PO BOX so the postal worker just puts your gear in the PO BOX and you simply go get it.

if the source has a box that is too big for the PO BOX, the postal worker will then put a slip in the PO BOX and need to sign for it at the front desk.

I feel safe with a big PO BOX and have the source overnight it USPS first class.

If your paranoid about recieving a delivery just write "return to sender" on the package, then keep it near your door so if you get raided (highly unlikely) it'll appear as if your attempting to return a package you recieved in error.
Of course the cops will have a warrant and will find any stash you might already have and you'll still end up in the gray bar hotel. At least they won't get you for mail fraud in additon to the other charges.

No one is going to raid your house or post up outside or hide in the bushes for a personal use amount of gear. They could care less about your $500 worth of sauce. If they happen to catch it in customs they will seize it and send you a courtesy letter but that's it. Have the shit sent to your house bro, unless you are selling it they don't really care about you - at least not enough to raid your house.
